About Our Lessons
Our lessons introduce our sport to new shooters, we go through safety, stance and eye dominance. We supply hat, eye and ear protection as well as the use of a gun.
The lessons can last up to an hour and half. We aim to install confidence and safe practice so that our pupils can enjoy shooting in a safe and competent manner.

I got into shooting after I Injured my knee playing tennis and I couldn’t compete anymore. My husband and I decided to take up something different so I started clay shooting and loved it!
Ironically it was Steve who taught us both and introduced us to the shooting world.
Having coached tennis professionally for over 30 years, I thought that maybe I could use my teaching skills and put them to good use with clay shooting,
so three years ago I qualified as a CPSA level 1 Instructor and I love introducing new shooters to our sport. I am also a member of the Institute of Clay Shooting Instructors.
Steve and I love working at Mill Farm, it’s a lovely atmosphere with both the members and the staff.
It’s rewarding watching the shooters that we teach grow and improve and get the same enjoyment from shooting as we both do.

I have been involved in both clay and game shooting over the past thirty years and I have a passion for all aspects of the sport.
I qualified as a CPSA Instructor in 2011 and have recently joined the Institute of Clay Shooting Instructors.
I enjoy teaching new pupils how to shoot and to get the basics right as well as helping those who already shoot.
We can tailor our lessons to help shooters improve or resolve issues they might be having on a variety of disciplines.
Assisted rounds are also available for those shooters that no longer require a basic lesson but want to improve their scores and consistency.
Both Steph and myself are able to deliver shotgun skills modules 1 & 2 which are a great introduction to clay pigeon shooting.
